Befriend Your Cousins

A lifehack to invite more close, intimate friends into your life is to cultivate close friendships with your cousins. My spouse and I have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to first cousins (the photo is some but not all of us on my dad's side), and they have become some of our very closest friends. It's like siblings without the baggage from growing up; they know all the people involved in your childhood stories and you have known each other your whole lives. There is a big age range among all of us and it is where I end up with friends that are a decade older or younger than me and it is a total delight. My son, in his early 20s is best friends with his first cousin too.
