Play the License Plate Game with Your Kids

Here's what you do:
Print out a checklist of all 50 states and put in on a clipboard in the backseat with a pencil. Look out the window. Drive around parking lots, especially in National Parks or other tourist attractions. Be excited and curious about being in the world. Celebrate when you find the really hard ones. Make low stakes, silly memories. Repeat every summer.
